Schumacher Overall Rating: Two Stars: Some readers would enjoy it but many would not. Although the book would have benefited from the services of a skilled editor, the author provides an interesting look backward on his life from new ensign to Lt. j.g. while aboard DD-657. Readers will find reproductions of photographs taken during the cruises and accounts of the author's experiences during trips to England, Japan and Korea. many of them paralleled those of this reviewer. Others who served on our beloved Fletchers during this period may also enjoy this trip to memory land.
