Volunteering on Museum
Ships
Volunteering on a Museum Ship can be
fun for the whole family whether it is in the form of Field Day work repairing
and restoring or in administrative services or as docents and greeters.
Each of the ships has its own unique
needs that those with some free time who are interested can check out. These
pages show some of the volunteer work being done and list information for each
ship, including location, visiting days and times, volunteer programs, and
articles about some of the volunteer efforts. Even if you don't have the time
to spend with a paint brush in your hand you will enjoy seeing the photos and
stories of the volunteers who do so much to help maintain these ships for
future generations to see.
Please note: This page is still
under construction. In the near future we will be adding additional pages with
more information about
each ship.
