Tin Can Sailors 2007 National Reunion The 2007 Tin Can Sailors National Reunion was held September 2 - 6 at the Sheraton San Diego, CA.  Over 260 people attended.  Below are some photos of the highlights.   A TICONDEROGA-class cruiser (left) across the pier from an ARLEIGH BURKE-class destroyer.  The group divided up and visited three active ships.   The Memorial Service was held at the beautifully maintained Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery.   Guest speaker Captain Peter Gumataotao was the hit of the evening with tales and details of today's navy.   TCS President, Captain Jim Jones USN (Ret.) presents Captain Gumataotao with a complimentary membership in Tin Can Sailors.
