2008 National Reunion
The 2008 Tin Can Sailors National Reunion was held
August 24 - 28 at the Hilton Pittsburgh, Pittburgh, PA.
Over 230 people attended. Below
are some photos of the highlights.

Soldiers and Sailors Hall, Pittsburgh.
The largest military museum in the nation,
it has displays from every combat action since the Civil War.

The Memorial Service was held in the main
auditorium at Soldiers and Sailors Hall.

The Color Guard leaves the stage after

Monday's night's entertainment was the
Pittsburgh Banjo Band.
Here their lead vocalist performs one of several songs.

Some 21 members of the band remained on
stage to play several encores
demanded by the audience.

Three rivers and many bridges.
Pittsburgh is a beautiful city, not at all reminiscent of its steel mill days.

Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers
meet to form the Ohio River.
