The Sailor's Psalm
Written by Ens. Anderson

The Lord is my Captain, I shall
not lose course,
He makes me to anchor in quiet waters:
He makes my soul secure.
He pilots me in the channels of righteousness for his names sake
Yea though I plunge into the troughs of mountainous seas,
I will fear no shipwreck.
For you are at the helm.
Thy compass and thy sextant they comfort me.
You open a calm way ahead of my prow.
In the midst of great tempests, you fill my sails with westerly winds.
My hold runs over.
Surely fair winds and blue skies will follow me all the days of my voyage,
And I shall sail on the ship of your word forever.
