Dealey (DE-1006) Class Fram II Color Profile
The FRAM configuration is represented by
the Lester (DE-1022) with one twin 5-in. gun mount, two MK 32 torpedo tube
mounts, one MK 108 ASW rocket launcher, one MK 9 depth charge release track,
quadruped foremast with SPS-6 air search and SPS-10 surface search/navigational
radars, MK 63 GFCS, MK 105 UFCS, and one SQS-23 keel mounted sonar. Details of
the modernization varied between ships as noted below and the MK 108 rocket
launchers, and Squid in DE-1006, were eventually removed on all units. The
following ships are available in this configuration:
USS Dealey (DE-1006) - no
DASH, two MK 32 torpedo tube mounts in place of Squid.
USS Cromwell (DE-1014) - no DASH.
USS Hammerberg (DE-1015) - DASH flight deck and hanger.
USS Courtney (DE-1021) - no DASH.
USS Lester (DE-1022) - DASH flight deck and hanger.
USS Evans (DE-1023) - DASH flight deck and hanger.
USS Bridget (DE-1024) - flight deck, no DASH hanger.
USS Bauer (DE-1025) - flight deck, no DASH hanger.
USS Hooper (DE-1026) - flight deck, no DASH hanger.
USS John Willis (DE-1027) - DASH flight deck and hanger.
USS Van Voorhis (DE-1028) - DASH flight deck and hanger.
USS Hartley (DE-1029) - DASH flight deck and hanger.
USS Joseph K. Taussig (DE-1030) - DASH flight deck and hanger.
