We now have full
color profiles for the Stribling
Class (DM-1)(pictured above)
and Tracy (DM-19) Class (pictured
below) destroyers as
converted to fast minelayers in
their pre-World War II as built
arrangement. We will have
additional modifications
including those converted to
fast minesweepers DMS in their
pre-World War II as built
arrangement in future
newspapers.
Specifications
for the Stribling (DM-1) Class
and Tracy (DM-19) Class were
taken from Ship’s Data U.S.
Naval Vessels, 1 July 1935.
Although very similar in detail
and armament there were
differences between some ships.
DM-1 is shown here. Your order
will be checked for the correct
arrangement. Displacement: 1,160
tons. Dimensions: 314'-4"
overall, 30'-6" beam, 12-0" max.
draft. Speed 35.0 knots.
Armament: four 4-in./50 cal.
guns, one 3-in./23 cal. gun, and
eighty mines.
