Farragut (DLG-6) Class as
built Color Profiles
We now have full color
profiles for the ten Farragut (DLG-6)-class guided missile destroyer leaders as
built.
The as
built configuration is represented by the Farragut (DLG-6). Armament: one 5-in.
MK 42 gun mount, two twin 3-in. MK 27/33 gun mounts, one MK 112 ASROC ASW rocket
launcher, and one twin MK 10 missile launcher. Fire control: MK 68 GFCS (5-in.),
MK 63 GFCS (3-in.), MK 74 MFCS/SPG-49 radars, and MK 111 UFCS/SQS-23 sonar.
Radar: SPS-10 surface search/navigational and SPS-39 three-dimensional at
foremast, SPS-29/37 air search and TACAN at mainmast. The following ships are
