Down the ways! 12 Feb 1942. Note that the sign is already up for the USS Bush; Bethlehem had already converted over to the building of Fletcher Class DD's. Bush was sunk off Okinawa, 6 April 1945 by 3 kamikaze hits, but 227 survived.
