Forrest Sherman-Class Group A (See description and ship listings below)   Forrest Sherman-Class Group B (See description and ship listings--Group B below) USS Forrest Sherman Class AAW and ASW Conversions We now have full color prints for the three groups of the USS Forrest Sherman (DD-931)-class destroyers in their AAW (Antiaircraft) and ASW (Antisubmarine) configurations. Hull numbers for the AAW conversions were changed from DD numbers to new DDG numbers. Hull numbers for the ASW conversions did not change from their original DD numbers. AAW Conversions: The following equipment is shown: Main Battery: one single 5-in./54 cal. MK 42 gun mount. Missile Battery: one single MK 13 launcher for Tartar/Standard-MR SAM and Harpoon SSM. ASW Weapons: one 8-tube MK 16 ASROC launcher and two 12.75-inch 3-tube MK 32 torpedo tube mounts. Fire Control: one MK 68 GFCS, one MK 4 weapons FCS, one MK 74 missile FCS, and one MK 114 ASW FCS. Radar: SPS-29/37 or SPS-40 air search set (see Group Lists below), SPS-10 surface/navigational set, and SPS-48 3-D air search set. Sonar: SQS-23 keel mounted set. ASW Conversions: The following equipment is shown: Main Battery: two single 5-in./54 cal. MK 42 gun mounts. ASW Weapons: one 8-tube MK 16 ASROC launcher and  two triple MK 32 torpedo tube mounts. Fire Control: one MK 68 GFCS, one MK 56 GFCS, and one MK 114 ASW FCS. Radar: SPS-29/37 or SPS-40 air search set (see Group Lists below) and SPS-10 surface/navigational set. Sonar: SQS-23 keel mounted (bow mounted for DD-933) and SQS-35 IVDS/SQA-13 hoist mechanism sets.
