| The Operations Department is responsible, under the commanding officer, for the planning, coordinating and scheduling of the operations of the ship. Also is responsible for the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of last and operational information and intelligence; for photographic services; for external communications; and for the maintenance and repair of electronics equipment and specifically assigned to other departments. | |
