Thursday, September 10, 2009  -- Arrival, settling in, Hospitality Room opens at noon.
10:00 AM Optional Tour #1 Newport Naval Base, War College and Museum. Note: To enter the Newport Naval Base each person must bring a PHOTO ID.
11:30 AM Drop off in downtown Newport. Lunch on your own.
1:00 PM Tour #1 (cont) Bus loads at downtown Newport drop off point and continues to Ft Adams and a ride around Ocean Drive.

Friday, September 11, 2009
8:30 AM Tour #2 Bus departs for New Bedford harbor and fast ferry trip to Martha's Vineyard. Lunch on your own. Numerous activities on Martha's Vineyard.
5:15 PM Ferry departs Martha's Vineyard to Mainland. Bus from New Bedford harbor returns to hotel by 6:45 pm.

8:30 AM Gatling Reunion Association business meeting (Only active `10 Shipmates in attendance may vote).
10:00 AM Tour #3 Bus departs for New Bedford National Whaling Historical Park. Numerous activities.
Lunch on your own.
1:00 PM Tour #3 (cont) Bus loads at New Bedford National Whaling Historical Park drop off point and continues to Battleship Cove in Fall River for a joint USS Cotten/USS Gatling Memorial service. Optional Battleship Cove tour.
6:00 PM Cash bar at White's of Westport restaurant next door to the Hampton Inn hotel.
7:00 PM Banquet Dinner at White's of Westport includes: salad w/dressing; baked potato; mixed vegetables; mud pie dessert; coffee and tea; and one of three entrées: chicken, fish, or prime rib. Following the meal, there will be entertainment.

Sunday, September 13, 2009
12:00 PM Checkout by Noon. See you at the 25th Reunion.
Future Site Chairmen think about your area for the possible 25th Reunion location. Explore your area and check with your local Visitors & Convention Bureau folks. Bring the information to the business meeting for the association members to vote on.
