This fall, in early October, DDG - 108, the USS WAYNE E. MEYER will be christened at Bath Iron Works, in Bath, Maine. As many of you know, Admiral Meyer is one of our Goodrich shipmates having served his first sea duty tour in the US Navy as a young Ensign in 1947/48 on board the Goodrich. We are being given an opportunity by the folks of Bath Iron Works to be put on the invitation list to attend this historic event.
