Disposition:

Badly damaged by Naval gunfire, on 02/20/1942. Drydock at Soerabaja, Netherlands, East Indies for repairs. Capsized in drydock when she was improperly positioned on the keel blocks. Further damaged by a bomb from Japanese aircrapt while still in drydock. Supposedly destroyed by demolition charges on 03/02/1942. Struck from the Naval Vessel Register on 03/25/1942. Salvaged in 02/1943 by the Japanese Navy as Patrol Vessel No. 102. Returned to USN in 1945. Recommissioned on 10/29/1945 as DD-224. Stricken 4/17/1946. Sunk as target off San Francisco on 05/24/1946.
