Gearing Class FRAM I, Group B, Tall Mast
We have prints of the GEARING-class
FRAM I destroyers in this configuration: Group B with two, twin 5-inch gun
mounts, one forward and one aft; a long tripod foremast with either SPS-29/37
or SPS-40 radar; one ASROC launcher; two, triple MK 32 torpedo tubes; and DASH
hangar with electronics mast aft. This configuration is applicable only to
the ships listed here from the early 1960s until they were decommissioned.
