Your bus tickets will list what group and bus number you were assigned, as well as departure times. Please be aware of this information in order to keep the bus schedule running smoothly. You can tour Battleship Cove, the Maritime Museum and Bicentennial Park, which are all listed on the map below. Keep your tour tickets and neck wallet at all times for entry. We recommend packing a water bottle, sunscreen, hats, etc. Do not leave any belongings on the buses.
Battleship Cove Bus Schedule:
Departure from Crowne Plaza Hotel:
Group 1 (Bus 1, 2 and 3): Bus boards 8:15am, Departs at 8:30am. Arrives at Battleship Cove by 9:15am.
Group 2 (Bus 1, 2 and 3): Bus boards 9:50am, Departs at 10:00am. Arrives at Battleship Cove by 10:50am.
Departure from Battleship Cove:
Group 1 boards at 2:15pm, and the three buses depart at 2:30pm.
Group 2 boards at 3:45pm, and the three buses depart at 4:00pm.
If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Warwick, you are in Group 2, on Bus 3. We will be stopping at that hotel around 10:10am to pick up this group. It will also stop there on the way back to the Crowne Plaza to drop everyone off.
Shuttle Schedule:
11:00am – 2:00pm: Buses will begin shuttling between Battleship Cove and Tin Can Sailors Office. Below is a map of each stop the shuttles will be making. Keep in mind, the shuttle stops running at 2:00pm. After 1:30pm, prepare to return to Battleship Cove.
Tin Can Sailors Office: Utilize the shuttle service to tour the TCS Office, Library and Collection at any point between 11:00am and 2:00pm. We will have volunteers present who’d love to show you around! This is optional and you are able to come at any time while the shuttles are running. Keep in mind of shuttle end times
Lunch is on your own. Below is a list of restaurants in the area we recommend, all are accessible from utilizing the shuttle. Battleship Cove also has a small cafe for refreshments and pastries.
