Highlights
Monday evening reception with the Taste of Buffalo, Wings, etc A day at Niagara Falls and Luncheon at the Niagara Convention Center. Military Park with lunch aboard the USS Little Rock followed by our memorial service with a bagpiper and bugler. Two families attended to read the name of their passed shipmate. A raffle where $800 was raised, part to be donated to the Tin Can Sailors Historical Ships and the other given to shipmates and guests in a drawing. Evening farewell banquet with a patriotic theme where everyone attending wore red, white and blue. Friday was an optional tour for passport holders to Niagara on the Lake in Canada.
