Gearing-Class FRAM I, Group A
Gearing-Class FRAM I, Group A destroyers
with: two, twin 5"/38 gun mounts both forward; one ASROC launcher; two, triple
MK 32 torpedo tubes; a short tripod foremast with SPS-29/37 air search radar
and SPS-19 surface search radar; and a DASH hangar with electronics mast aft.
This configuration is applicable only to the ships listed below from 1960 until
they were decommissioned.
